As I love to admit to people, I had NO CLUE on "what I wanted to be when I grew up" and didn't have a lot of guidance on which direction my career path should go. Even after obtaining my Master's degree, I was still struggling to discover what my calling was and what would truly make me happy long term. This is where I really had to do some in depth research on what type of careers where available to me, what their requirements were, how I could MEET those requirements and most importantly... was the job even going to be as glamorous as the job description made it out to be.
Now, one of the aspects that I love about my job is that I get the opportunity to network with a great diversity of individuals in different career fields. Through networking, I get to ask people these same sort of questions that I was wondering when I was career searching.
Each month, I will post an interview on different people in various positions, expertise, and companies so hopefully you may find your own insight on "what you want to be when you grow up." :)
If there's a career field that you would like to better understand the "inner workings" about, feel free to comment it in the chat box so I can interview them!
